When Basware rolled out an ‘activation program’, Toshiba received a notification from their customer advising them to get on board with e-invoicing. This was the trigger they needed to finally upgrade to e-invoicing and gave them the perfect business case to make technical and organisational changes that they knew they needed.
Basware is able to accept a wide range of e-invoice formats and the solution can be scaled up to manage both accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) across an organisation's entire customer and supplier base. So when Toshiba screened their top 30 customers and found that many of them were already Basware customers, it made logical sense to use Basware and keep their customers happy at the same time.
